A little about myself...

Welcome graphic

Hi, my name is Aubrey Barrett . I am 26 years old, I have a husband of 3 years, whose name is Brian, we have a 3 1/2 year old little boy named Nash, and a 1 year old little boy named Benjamin. I graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1999 and for the past 4 years I have been a homemaker/ stay at home mommy~ and I love EVERY minute of it! My husband Brian has worked for his family owned company ~CLT and Sons for the past six years.. We currently reside in Laurel Greene Subdivison in Galloway, OH.

The reason why I chose to begin childcare is mainly so I can spend more time with my sons, Nash and Benjamin. I loved working, but I love my kids more! I believe children need love and attention, and I also believe that educating your child should begin at a young age. I think there is a time to play and a time to learn, and I think with the right people you can coordinate activities to do both.

I am offering childcare from 7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. If you need me at other times, PLEASE feel free to ask. If I do not have plans, I would GLADLY watch your child. I am also willing to watch children on the weekends, for an additional cost, again as long as I don’t already have plans.

I am charging $115 per week for a full-time child (32 hours or more), and $25 per day for a part-time child (32 hours or less). I will charge $125 per week for infants (6 weeks of age to 6 months, due to the fact that they need more attention). I understand how hard it is to work and pay for childcare because I’ve done it. Childcare has gotten to the point that it is ridiculous how much it costs, that it almost seems worth it not to work, because you are working to pay for daycare! I believe you need to trust the person with whom you leave your child with, and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. If you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask. Please know that I am here even if you aren’t. In other words, if you go to work, yet there is nothing for you to do, you still get paid. I understand that there are instances in which you won’t be bringing your child on a day regularly scheduled for them to be here, for that reason I allow 5 sick days per child, per year. Use them as needed, but after those 5 days are used, I do expect payment regardless of if your child is here or not.

Payment is required when you drop your child off Monday morning. If you are not here Monday, payment is to be paid in full on the day that you return. I cannot accept your child until payment has been made.

Again, I want you to feel as comfortable as possible, because I know how important choosing a childcare provider is, so if you have ANY questions, please call!

Sincerely,

Aubrey Barrett
